Association Membership

In order to keep sport registration costs down, and to streamline our ability to cover administrative costs for items and services that support all sports, Lighthouse Christian Athletics has decided to implement an annual Association Membership fee starting with the 2024-2025 season (August 1st, 2024 through July 31st, 2025).

This annual fee will be paid one time per athlete for the year, and will allow them to take part in any sport during that athletic year. The fee for the 2024-2025 season will be:

$35.00 per athlete, for athletes 12 and up

$20.00 per athlete, for athletes under 12

Note: There will be a maximum requirement of TWO annual memberships per family. If your family has 3 or more athletes please use discount code FAMILY2024 to register your additional athletes beyond two at no cost.

To join your athlete now, choose the register button at the top of the page, then select Annual Association Membership, or click the "JOIN NOW" button below. You will not be able to register for your sport in a given season without first having purchased the Association Membership for that athlete.

We know this is a change from our previous way of covering these costs, which was to include them in the registration fee of every sport. Ultimately, this approach will allow us to better prepare for future growth while keeping costs to our families as low as possible.

Lighthouse Christian Athletics is committed to being transparent about where fees paid by our families are spent. One of the primary objectives and responsibilities falling on our Board of Directors is to ensure proper stewardship of all financial resources that we are given.

Some of the common general administrative expenses that are shared across our organization are as follows. In total these general administrative expenses add up to several thousand dollars per year.

• Sports Administration Platform
• Website
• Communication Platform
• Software & Cloud Services (accounting software, email hosting, shared file storage, etc.)
• Legal Services
• Accounting/Financial Services
• Office Supplies
• Insurance
• MSHSAA annual registration fees
• Background Checks and CPR Training (for coaches)
